ok.. nothing better to clear out the veg drawer in the fridge than some simple roasted chicken.. these split breasts always come on great sale i think these 2 huge things were no more than $3.. and the onions, garlic, celery, etc was just taking up space waiting to be used in the fridge.. well.. more the celery.. everythig else gets gobbled up quick.. so the lmn zest on there was good... but a little much to just eat as it.. but i was not making these for that.. PULLED CHICKEN! in the south they go wild for pulled pork and call it a 'bbq' .. thats it.. simple.. so i did a little of my own pulled the chicken.. used a local bbq sause and added my roasted veg and some other fun stuff in there.. the sandies were wonderful and almost light.. ture.

cheapo bacon... still does the trick!

lunch..

savannah loves it some bar b que! ooooooo weee! haha... thoes are some big turke drumsticks cooking up there.. i think i snapped this during st pats day

yes me above.. my little daily food spot time dump got a little action tonight.. so take a look and let me know.. good.. bad.. waste of time... what needed.. etc.. constructive crit is on.. and yes... you can even note my lack of spelling abilities.. camera skills.. and even cooking skills! haha in any event slam away!
oh.. ps- i will get my 'banner' fixed up tomorrow to match my...
yes.. that is me pushing the product.. ha.. sorry! had to! food and design.. i know i like the pair!

andrea is a egg lover.. and i love her so i like to cook her eggs.. of all sorts! they are cheap.. healthy and can be eaten all the time with a lot of variey... so here is my poached egg... little plastic wrap (micro safe... not that we own a micorwave..) little olive oil/butter/truffle oil.... what ever you really want on it so the egg does not stick... twist it up.. my new trick is put one of thoes 'chip clips' on it to keep it shut.. plop into simmering wata.. and let it have fun for about 3 mins.. peel back plastic and tada.. perfect poached... i know.. cooking in the plastic is a little sketchy but i eat a lot of things that make you think twice as well..see a couple below.. so i am not overly concerned...
maybe industrial design... the poach pocket.... reuseable poached egg mold.. creative commons on that one!
i just love the perfect flourette shape you get.. and so does andrea!

the kroger try our queso sign was real funny

above + homemade stock =

first off.. toasting your bread n matter how with olive oil is always a win.. 2nd.. not a big soup guy but was hungray and needed to clean out the fridge which sits puposefully close to bare (just the neededs) ... so.. sweet potatoe.. celery.. red onion ..garlic.. sausage.. and a bunch of other good stuff that meets your own needs... it was good

i for some reason never really turn to cookbooks too often.. flaw.. whenever i see older ones i always love to flip through.. i think i may start to pick a few up if the price is right.. i own a could but a nice little collection would be fun
